Savings Soles is a loving organization committed to providing footwear to children across the world. Saving Soles was founded by the basketball skills academy Kingdom Performance. The organization is passionate about bringing awareness and blessing kids that are worlds apart.
To provide footwear to people in third world countries while spreading the values of humanity and the gift of basketball. We want to teach kids in the U.S how blessed they are and how they can help others. We want to teach poverty stricken kids that live internationally they are not forgotten and the world is one small love filled place.
We ensure that each donated shoe has a picture of the donor before shipping. There will be established contacts in each country we donate to that will facilitate the distribution of the shoes and document each transaction. This is important because we want to encourage the value of generosity for many US youth who do not understand the privileges they really have. We know this tangible connection between the donor and recipient will provide us with word of mouth advertising after the feeling of accomplishment these donors feel, resulting in increased donations. Currently we are shipping shoes to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and we ship a minimum of 60-100 shoes during every visit.
